Ignite Student Ministries- Wednesday 7:00 PM

Let’s face it, students today have ten thousand different messages flying at them. Most of them are false, promising only a temporary satisfaction, and leading to confusion in this life.

At New Life, our desire is to point students to find their identity in Jesus Christ rather than boys/girls, money, worldly success, material possessions, or anything else that this world tries to tell them that they need to be. Our heart beats to see young lives changed by the Holy Spirit. We desire to show them that they are created for a specific purpose, God’s purpose, and we seek to equip them as effective disciples of Jesus Christ.

New Life is a family, the body of Christ, and our student ministry is no exception. It’s not about popularity, it’s not about cliques, it’s not about who’s better, it’s about Christ. We are His body. Come join us!

Come meet us Wednesday nights here at NEW LIFE BAPTIST CHURCH (19715 Hodde Lane, Pflugerville TX, 78660) at 7:00 pm to connect 🙂  Come early at 6:30pm for Fellowship and snacks before the lesson!  See you there!

IGNITE is our weekly gathering that is designed just for YOUth! Every Wednesday we meet at the church to praise Him with songs, have crazy games and contests, and divide into groups to have a Bible study especially geared toward challenges faced everyday by students.

IGNITE is defined as:

  • 1: to set afire
  • 2: spark : to set into motion…And that is exactly our desire on Wednesday nights, to spark or set afire
the passion for Jesus Christ within our schools, homes, and town.

…And that is exactly our desire on Wednesday nights, to spark or set afire the passion for Jesus Christ in our students and let it spread to our schools, homes, and town.

Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to come and GET CONNECTED.

PARENTS, you have one of the best, and one of the hardest jobs on the planet.  We want to work together with you in helping your student to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.  Below are some resources that you might find to be helpful in connecting with your students:

The Center for Parent/Youth Understanding
…An organization committed to building strong families by serving to bridge the cultural-generational gap between parents and teenagers.

Focus on the Family
…exists to cooperate with the Holy Spirit in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible by nurturing and defending the God-ordained institution of the family and promoting biblical truths worldwide.

…The purpose of this site is to provide parents and other adults with objective and complete information about a film’s content so that they can decide, based on their value system, whether they should watch a movie with or without their kids.
